I am getting ready for my next Copic Marker class at Reddi-Arts which is our fabulous local art supply store. In the last class, the inspiration was pears and this time I will bring apples. Since this is a beginner class, I use a limited number of markers that I ask them to bring. At the end of the class, I will have suggestions on other markers they can add to their collection.
Copic Marker Tip #7: Select a range of colors to work with before starting to render your image. It is helpful for me to limit the color range options when I am working on a rendering. Using color is so much fun that I am tempted to try multiple colors on the same image. As you can image, this results in a big mess. Before I begin rendering an image, I create blocks that are 1″ X 1″, for my selection which provides a visual reference keeping me on a successful track. What about giving this a try and see how this works for you?
